Frequently asked questions
How secure is my credit card payment information?
jCalc uses Stripe.com to securely collect, transmit, process and store your credit card information.
Stripe.com is a level 1 PCI certified payment service provider. And it is one of the top 5 payment service providers in the world.
jCalc does not collect, transmit, process or store credit card information on the jCalc server.
The credit card input form on the jCalc payment page is loaded directly from the Stripe server. And when you click "Pay", your information is submitted directly to Stripe over a secure SSL connection.
On the Stripe system, only the last 4 digits of your card number and expiry date are visible to a Stripe administrator.
For more information, see the Privacy Policy.
Please let me know if you need more information. I don't mind.
Do you accept PayPal payments?
Unfortunately not anymore.
Do you allow monthly subscriptions?
Unfortunately not. Only annual subscriptions.
Why is there a watermark that prevents screen capture?
The watermark protects against unfair commercial use of the free version. Some users submit jCalc screenshots to clients as part of professional design documentation instead of using the official paid PDF reports.
This is considered unfair use, as commercial value is gained from jCalc’s work. To remove the watermark please purchase a subscription, which includes downloadable PDF reports.
For more information, see the Terms of Use.
